With the static of a station coming into frequency from a time forgotten when radios were were transmitted by dials, the ear worm "Outta My Mind" is a phoenix. Floating above the fire of ashes with whistling feedback from an old Fender tube AMP and the pounding of steady tribal drumming, a lone musician embraces the musical experience with his fans and band to embark on a journey of soulful exploration through roots that are buried deep into the human psyche.
lyrics
Turn the dial slowly on the radio
Hip music playing, I feel it in my soul
Waves of sound, they feel like an echo
I sink into a dream and I'll never let go
Cause I can't get ya outta my mind x4
Though I've tried
Trumpets blasting, going beep, beep beep
And the drummer is drumming a steady beat
Bass player grooves along
And the fans all sing along
I can't get ya outta my mind x4
Though I've tried
Solo
Turn the dial slowly on the radio
Hip music playing, I feel it in my soul
Waves of sound, they feel like an echo
I sink into a dream and I'll never let go
Cause I can't get ya outta my mind x4
Though I've tried
